Golden Flowers

While there are many yellow, gold and amber flowers, only one genus has a name literally meaning golden flower.

Chrysanthemums, which come in many varieties, are named from the Greek chrȳsánthemon, from chrȳs, meaning 'golden' and ánthemon, meaning 'flower'.
